Tex always seems to find himself on the opposite side of any discussion he's involved in. He's Jayboat minus the idealism.

A new pic for you. Since the thread was about this particular vessel.

Picking up the 28.

Thanks very much. I like it a lot. It is amazing in person. Traffic stopper. Bill and his guys did an outstanding job on the gel, paint, and cockpit. I tend to believe the legend of the low hours on the hull, based on overall condition. I am grateful to Bill for what he put into this boat cosmetically. No cracks, no blems, no dents, no scratches. It looked like we left the factory with it. I love the updates to the existing graphics package.
I look forward to the repower and especially the re-rig, which I intend to do myself.
First thing that will happen is a tear down of the two engines. I need to know what happened and why. Chances are highly unlikely that I will rebuild these.

Thanks again.

Fund, Stop argueing with that (insert whatever) and get it ready for next year. Great boat, I have been watching it from the first e-bay sale and hope to see it finished as it should be with you. Good luck and keep us posted

Thanks. It will be a fun process. I have gotten into these repowers before when they were unexpected. That's no fun. At all. It is painful. This will be enjoyable.

At first I wasn't sure about the paint scheme. But as soon as I saw it in person I knew that I wouldn't change it.

Andy, I do PWC's and Jet boat, I dont like to work on my own boat!!!!!. or keep spending money on something I dont think was right for me or my wallet!!! I think you are a good guy and you helped me find my money pit!! I do not believe my old Apache is any way as rough as your is, my boat was perfect except for the motors!!!, I have almost 26,000 in recipts to prove it!. I think all this back and forth is childish. I liked my Apache until the motors went up, I looked at the cost or repowering and what I had put into the boat and the numbers did not work.
