Default Sun Deck Repair

A friend just purchased a 1992 22 1/2’ open bow baja. Nice boat, but the sun deck needs some repair along with one of the side pads in the bow. The sundeck has been replaced by the previous owner and all original parts are gone. The sun deck is made of a piece of plywood attached to a home made aluminum frame for support. The vinyl and foam are on top of the plywood. When closed it looks ok but it flexes when you try to open it. We started to take the sun deck apart but the wood is rotted so we stopped until we have a better idea of how to fix it.

On my baja the under side of the sun deck is a molded piece of fiberglass that I assume is attached to a piece of plywood and the vinyl and foam are attached to the plywood.

Is there a way to find out how the original sun deck was constructed and are there measurements or patterns to follow on how to rebuild one? Is there a way to get the piece of molded fiberglass that is on the under side of the sundeck?

Thanks in advance for anyone’s help / suggestions
