Deck repair
Took a break from my floor repair to work on the deck.
I pulled the rub rail. and found that the balsa core in the deck was not sealed on the edge.. Needles to say, the core got wet. Basically it was rotted about 1 to 3 inches in from the rub rail. Few spots were a little deeper. I dug it out until I hit dry wood.

I chopped out the first foot of the deck and epoxy laminated a new balsa core. Ill do the same around the deck where there was rot. then I'm gonna grind the edge and seal the joint with a few layers of F/G tape and epoxy.
