Art,

That's the way to do it brother!

We have decided with the price of new boats to keep what we have and enjoy for many years to come. I'll have to look at more power in the future.

Default Thanx for all the info

you have pretty well answered all my questions

Looks like for me and my budget and truck 272/275
with 454 mag or 502 is the choice.
The truck will tow a 302 but it's 2wd and will probably have some trouble at certain ramps with a 302.
Nice rigs and boats here as well guys, life is good...
Classifieds here it come......

Dave

I had trouble with a 1 ton van at the ramps, my wifes Explorer limited v8 screams pulling the boat. I wish I had kept my old race truck it was custom order through FORD, RACE ON ICE [LAKE GEORGE],SANDDRAGS,MUDDRAGS, TRUCK PULLS and towed the boat it was the fastest F150 RED STEPSIDE around was undefeated IN LAKE GEORGE FROM 84 TO 87 OR 88. So watch out with a 2wd truck with anything bigger than a 272 which is a foot longer than mine. art
