Looking for opinions and suggestions regarding water pressure.
I am getting water leaks out of the sand strainers. They are as tight as they can possibly be tightened. It leaks where the glass bowl contacts the metal body and there is an o-ring there.
There are dedicated water pick ups on the transom running to the sand strainers and then to the intercoolers under the Whipples.
I do not have any pressure gauges on them but there is a good steady water flow while onplane.
Could the pressure be exceeding what the strainers can handle?

Ahhhh. $600 first please.
Actually, I built my own pressure relief valves about 2 years ago. I found it was cheaper to buy the off the shelf ones than building my own.
They are pretty cool though. I'll see what I can dig up for specs on them.

I've put in a phone call to a guy I know. I'll call you when I know something about them. Should be tomorrow.
