I look at it a different way. I think this boat is a great base for someone. This boat will probably be had for $25K

The colors arent bad on this boat. For the years you want you will find a lot of purple, teal and yellow. A good buff and the boat looks like new anyway.

Dash - Go buy a piece of carbon fiber and new bezels. You know you are going to bling it out anyway.

Interior - Sucks but it will get you there. How will the interior of a 15 year old boat look anyway. For $2000-$2500 you can get a pretty decent interior.

Drives - Mercury Phantom black rattle can, nuff said.

Engines - Arent bad and are a decent base. Run them, pull them, re-sell them. In this price range what do you expect, blue motors? I have more than this boat cost in my engines.

At the end of the day, after all this is done at least you know what you have... A 33 that is built from the ground up just for you and it will last you 20 more years, not 5 more.

Quite a bit more room behind hte back seat to the bolsters and then more room in the cabin too. I took these today, went and looked at this 29 myself after the hub bub.

454 Mags, trailer, cover and 195 hours I can't see how a guy could go wrong at $34,000?

seems like it almost at the right price where its worth buying. Low ball and then use the extra money to customize it the way you want. You will be able to keep this boat for many many years since its jumping ahead 2 or 3 steps at once

Talked to my buyer yesterday, he had to reapply for loan that he was approved for on boat that fell thru. He is a nice guy, probably end up rafted up together after sale. Sale looks good!

Anyway, I like the 33 and eventually will get there, on the other hand, Eddies is pretty nice! Low hours, nothing needed on my end. I looked at the 302 today and looking at pics of the 29, it appears to only be 6-8 inches more room btw bolsters and bench. I can live with the 29 and prefer the look and platform. Wanted head but could put lil port a potty in hole. Don't want to carry kids poop in a bucket again to dispose away from boat (that's another story)

On the other hand, my tow vehicle would like the 29 better than the 33.. I could definitely do the work that's needed on the 33 myself, hell ven the vinyl if i had a HD sewing machine.

Oh, Eddie, does that 29 have a spare (tires good?) Long way back to La.!! :-) ( edit. OK, new tires! Spares?? Would definitely need 1 or preferably 2 b/c my butt would be puckered the whole 700 miles home!!)

The speedo needs to go to Livorsi needle is jacked up last one i sent was $80 to repair i think. I'd replace cup holders with anodized ones they are yellowed along with stereo cover. The hatch screens are even there!!! Tires are new like last year. Bathrooms never been used and ready for you. I updated all pics tonight it a nice rig.
