Interesting. What did you use for a reference?

Pulled off the old grip tape and scrubbed it with goo-gone then put on new tape.
You can see in the pic where I took a break from scrubbing about halfway in the pic:

New grip tape installed:

Looks good. Little things like that and the other things you've done make the boat look and feel a lot newer.

Prepping for an upgrade to Phil'R Up.. Drive stand I threw together from parts I had laying around(minus the rear casters which cost me $12).

Cool stand! Great idea, I like the tongue jack to tip it. Should make putting it back on pretty easy.

Finishing up last minute jobs before I pull her to the machine shop tomorrow. Its gonna be a big weekend for Phil'R Up the motor is coming out tomorrow and cleaning the bilge then installing a new airmar P79 transducer that connects to the chartplotter. Saturday holds in store adding a brazilian manifold to the steering actuator, removing the pulley from the old sea pump and installing it on the new hardin pump then installing that on the motor finished up by cleaning everything and getting ready for Sunday. Sunday I'm installing a Mercury Racing ITS (huge shoutout to Raymond and the crew at DoubleR Performance they've been great to work with). Followed up by reinstalling the motor then bringing her back home. Probably won't have time to post pics while I'm doing it but look for a whole slew of pics on Monday.

Added another strip of grip tape to outermost bar and installed the new vents. Not sure if it'll stick but I had extra so why not attempt.

Pics of the side vents after running a bead of silicone around the edges to stop light leaking out.
