Wait! Only a grand over budget?! You've messed up somewhere then, lol.

You're close! Hope she comes together easy for you. Obviously don't leave the dock until everything is thoroughly checked over, lines bled, check plumbing connections etc. Take as many tools as possible when you set out. When my power steering line blew while bleeding it may have been a bit of a blessing in disguise because while fixing it the next day I noticed I forgot to tighten the raw water line coming off the power steering cooler....

You'll love the hydraulic steering. It makes running in less than ideal conditions much more relaxing. I was out running in mine the other day and while doing a consistent 75-80 I noticed how I was not adjusting the wheel at all and thought dang this hydraulic steering is nice.

Hey guys guess I can't post pics anymore.... anyway update on the ITS I discovered 2 things when trying to get the larger U-Joints on a standard bravo. 1. you can't get the spanner wrench over the larger U-joints and the wrench for the X and XR drives won't work with a standard bravo retainer ring. 2. The collar on the input yoke going into the drive is about 1/8 of an inch longer on the standard bravo than it is on a X or XR so when you put a standard bravo bearing pack on and start to tighten it the O-ring starts to bulge out before the nut is even tight.. NOT GOOD. Bottom line I'm working on getting a X drive.

If I were you I'd look around for a XR right away if you plan on upping HP in the future. Then again if you think you'd be over the 600hp range then you'd prob need something stronger than the XR anyways. So an X may be a good choice for the time being.

No plans in the near future for more HP so an X will work just fine for now..
Also I'm kinda fed up with trying to post pics so if you want to see them I created a new page on facebook.. I know some of you guys aren't on there but I get 90% of my boating info off of FB and it's way easier for me to add videos, pics, reply to comments, etc. so until something changes I'm not planning on posting any pics on here.

Just go to facebook and enter @iaoutlaw in the search bar and the page should come up.. hit the like button and the updates will come across your feed.

Hey guys I'm going to attempt to do a facebook live event at 5:30 tonight.. not sure how it's going to go but if it works like other events you can comment or ask questions that I should be able to see and respond to. figured it might be a good format to show the boat and upgrades etc.

Update: Wish I could post pics but finally got 10 hours on the drive over the weekend. Changed the fluid and put a used belt one of my buddy's had laying around (mine was so stretched that I couldn't tighten it anymore and I got the dreaded 2 beep a min... assuming from not having enough water pressure. The water pump wasn't pushing enough water since my risers started to get warm to the touch.) Sunday took her back out and ran her up to 51 around 4400 rpm so a lot left in it. Also for those of you haven't seen I went to the shootout this year again. The extension box and hydraulic steering is an awesome upgrade. It dropped my planning speed from 27 mph to around 21 - 22 mph and the boat rides a lot flatter especially in the rough. Coming back from the shootout we were around MM 25 when 5:30 hit and the extended no wake expired. I held off getting on plane till 5:33 when I caught HP Mafia and a few other boats flying around the corner behind me and decided it was time to go.
Here is link to the video we had 3 go-pros running:
