When I called Bronson Hill about getting some new props they first talked me into trying 26 x 4 blade despite my objections. When I tested the labbed 26’s I was still turning 5100rpm but saw my speedo speed drop to about 74-75mph. I ended up getting the labbed 27 x 3 that I wanted all along. Speedo speed with these props is 79-80mph compared to 77mph with the 25’s.
My only complaint with Bronson Hill is that they wanted to tell me “what I need” vs. me telling them “what I want”.

1997 272 after installing 502MPI on rev limiter with labbed 23 Mirage Plus 74 MPH ( with no hatch or backseat and no fuel so it really doesnt count )
I normally see 70 MPH @ 5100

74.7 at 5000 rpm
26 Bravo 1 & 1.5 ratio
Prop is labbed.
Changing to roller cam setup this winter so I can hit 80 mph otherwise this boat will be for sale!!!
