Cool December Day in Fort Worth, TX.

What do you guys think a 25 outlaw with a 500 hp will do? My friends got one and says it does 77mph. I think hes blowin smoke up my ass.

Heres what I know, 23p mirage, and we took it out last week (I was on my jet ski) and he said he was hitting 5350rpms.

Sound right to yall?

Nope - the magazines have tested many with 500 hp's. I've seen as low as 68mph and as high as only 73mph. Besides, in order for a boat to go 77mph with a 23p, it would have to have 0% slip.

I think its a solid 70mph boat, but theres a big difference as we all know between 70 and 77.

I think your buddy has a bad case of the "10 mph rule" blues......

I'd say 70ish at best.

CFD5 has a 496ho prochaged 25Outlaw and has seen high 75's gps. That is like 580 hp. Your buddy is on crack.
