I big job finaly pays!! I love the numbers and it's just in the range that I was thinking about. Like Charlie says, you will hit 80mph* soon but learn the boat first.

Nice to hear from you.
Thanks a lot. Yes, I remember your best estimate. Seems you are correct. Once again.
I will try 4 props this friday. Yes, vacation. He he.
Hydromotive P5X, LAB Bravo 1 30p and Turbo TXP 28p, 30p.
Hope to get the slip down a bit.
Im thinking safety first, driving to my knowledge safe.
Ha ha, but I saw an rib and one unknown yankeeboat the other day and couldnt resist to try and catch them.
Seriously, I agree with both Charlie and you about taking it slow and get to know the boat.
Skål.

I know this isnt all of what you guys hope to see.
But hey, its a start.
I will do my best to get some more videos of the boat in action.

Spectre had a customer who wanted his boat with bottom paint...it was a triple engine center console, 35 foot I think.....they tested the boat before and after the paint....they lost almost 7 MPH with the paint.
If you need it fine....but just be aware that it is costing you some speed and don't go crazy....... trying for a big speed number...... with bottom paint on.
Boat looks great as usual....you look like you are having fun...that's the most important part of the boating experience.

I wanted to splash the boat this year.
So the paint is still on. But I do agree. It should be removed.
As said before. When removed the speed should come up a bit.
Tested 4 props the other week.
Speed was 69-70 mph on all of them.
The hull just feels great.
However, it feels like the motor isnt as strong as could be exepcted.
We decided to do a check usin a scan-tool.
The scan showed that the throttle only opens up to 83%. My bad!
Also, the engine is in guardian 1 mode.
I have ordered a new TPS and IAC.
This all together should hopefully mean that the power is back and that speed goes up.
When all is fine and secured about the engine I will look at other improvements like cutting of the water pick up, removing bottom paint.
I havent decided if I will keep the notch or not?
Depends on how the boat feels like/behave with 525 bhp.
Here is a clip of a test run.
It was a sunny, cold and rainy day. ha ha
Only about 4000 rpm on this clip.

It will all come together for you when you get all those little pieces sorted out...like the throttle.
You are certainly approaching it the right way...nice and patient and testing everything as you go along.
Boat looks great...keep up the good work!!!!
