Long time no hear....
Some work has been done. Nothing big, but anyway.
2 of the old ignition cables had given its best.
Shifted all 8. Tough job with the motor in the boat.
Glad that I have an 8footer wide.

This weekend I shifted the lower of the XR to the old sport master.
I really liked the feeling of the sport master when I had it on.
Even though people over here says Im likely to loose speed with the sm I want to try it.
-2" inch might help me turn a bigger prop thus gaining speed?
Also, its a bit of different boat this time as I have closed the notch.
Also I have added a splash plate this time on the drive. Not fully mounted on the last 2 pics.
Plan on splashing this weekend if time is on my side.
We´ll see how it works out?

This year I planed on taking part in the Poker Run Stockholm and therefor I invested for me and my friend the 2 most expensive T-shirts ever.
Had an idea of doing them with a focus on history.
Talked to Charlie and got some logos to use and took the history text from the http://bananaboatco.com/
I think they came out pretty well. Allthough I should have increased the font size on the history text.

Pasta be careful .. the boat is older and although you have done great work please don't push it too much.... when I was a kid anything over 50 was great.. 60 was WOW 70 hold on... now near 80... strap yourself in.... My 2008 Banana went 63 I drove it in Narragansett Bay... I could not imagine that boat doing 80... it would be a bit hairy.. at that speed... be careful and enjoy it.. just remember no matter what you put into that boat there is always someone that will run faster.

You are absolutely right, respect of speed and water is key.
She is old allthough lots of her is re-built.
She is pretty fast, stabile, and runs absolutely awesome.
Perhaps its because of her weight together with a matching CG she feels so stabile.
In fact I have never experienced any scary moments.
Perhaps because I dont push her enough... Ha ha again, I do agree with you.
Here is another clip for you guys. Not the best one, but you see the speed and how she behaves.
A new and light 24 with a 525 has to be à fantastic combination...

My '82 24' Squadron which is a very similar hull, is in the mid 90s and is awaiting a bigger prop next spring to get my engine off the limiter...
Also going to do a little bottom work this winter to get some rocker out..
