Black Banana
Hey Rick,
Where is that Black Banana with the float on trailer for sale?
There was a Black one for sale in Acushnet Mass. When I talked to the guy, I think his name was Roland, he said he bought the boat brand new, used it two summers for like 50 hours and then hurt his back real bad doing something so he couldn't even use it.
He told me it had been in his garage ever since and he just runs the motor a couple times a year.
At the time he wanted $24,000.
Too much for me at the time, but I am almost certain he still has it. Maybe that is it?
Is that out of your price range Tommy?

I am looking at some pics of the red one on Winnie. Dog is right that one is real nice and clean looking. I think Fruitta 55 has gone for a ride on it try asking him about it. It's called BEEP BEEP.

I agree, the red boat was clean.
There were only two things I didn't like about it:
1. Too much set back. With twins, I believe that 18" should be max for set back for weight and balance reasons. I think the Center of Gravity on the red boat is too far aft. Fast yes, but unstable unless the tabs are dragging.
2. Outboards on a bracket should mean big cockpit space, but that boat still had the empty I/O box with a sunpad on top. Wasted space I think.
Either way, both things could be corrected quickly and rather inexpensively.
The guys name is Jim and his phone number is 603-528-3474.
Black Banana with 50 hours since new is 508-264-8213.
Both those numbers are at least one year old, so they may be NFG.
See ya...
