What a mess, I am sorry that so many of you got Tricked!! We lost lots of business to Trick ourselves by having him bit down our prices on everything we tried to sell clients. We have not sold any gauges or exhaust as well as many other parts for a LONG time.
At the end of the day we are all paying for this.

Everyone likes a cheap price but when it is so cheap there is no value in the product.

It's very apparent some people are very disturbed and have lost or are going to potentially lose their money or had bad experiences on purchases with Trick. I totally agree that they have a right to voice their opinion and to be able to vent their experiences to a point.

I also think most people who frequent this site are now aware of the problems with this Vendor. But in the last day or so it seems to have gotten out of control and just turned into a "Trick" bashing session from Customers and Competitors without adding any new facts or helpful insights.

Personal attacks quite frankly have no place on an open forum unless your only here for the Drama.

I agree the "Trick Marines" business model was doomed from it's inception, selling without making a decent profit never works unless you have another source of revenue and are just using the tactic to hurt your Competition.

We see "Loss Leaders" in our markets all the time, they are a pain in the a$$ but if you can hold on long enough they tend to weed themselves out over time, this can be months or even years depending on how deep their pockets are.

The simple facts are the these days people shop by price and price alone, Customer loyalty for the most part is a thing of the past for many and it's boils down to who has the lower price.

We have a simple rule within our Company with regards to talking about our Competition, it's to say nothing, neither positive or negative. That way your integrity and motives are never called into question later on down the road.

I think we'll all be paying more attenton to threads about bad business practices from now on and not be so quick to dismiss them and pile on if it concerns one of the favourite vendors on the site .......OSO has learned a lesson.
