What you explained is exactly what we have. Folded doors with a cabin entrance that goes upwards.

We just tonight rec'd a call from the guy doing our vinyl. Rob said he'd be more than happy to talk to you about what we're doing and post some pics. It will be done next week.

Well, we unveiled her tonight......................

We sprayed the bow tonight and it gets flames tomorrow night. We have some logos to put on it and the clearing starts Thursday or Friday and will finish up on Sunday. We'll post bow pics and clear pics after it's all done.

The pictures don't show the colors well in the dark areas. It's dark blue and purple....very definitive when you see it for yourself.

We're placing the Chris Craft logo on both sides and Stinger 312 on the upper gunnel. It'll be the end of May before she's back together (doing gauges, replacing cables, cabin door, bathroom door and put cockpit guts back in), but we're pleased how she came out.

We'll be putting CC logos on tonight and we have Stinger 312 logos to place on the upper gunnels.

Ok, first of all Scarab3DMC... that boat looks sweet now.

Rob and Barb... it's amazing what you can do with a boat that has such classic lines.
You are gonna turn a lot of heads this year for sure. I can see people now saying: "WTF IS THAT!?!?!" as you go by.

I read this to Rob earlier when you posted it. We knew you meant that in a good way. Rob's buddy Eddie said the same thing when he saw it last night.

What's exciting is we have to clear it het, finish the bow, put the rub rail on it and all the stainless accessories all around the boat.........it's just going to continue to look better as we move forward.

No Mange, we went to a local place and had stencils made. We copied the CC logo from the web and they were able to enlarge it from there. We also have stencils that say Stinger 312 and we put them on last night. Looks really good!! I'll try and remember to take the camera tonight and get some pictures of it.

We have fine line on the bow for the flames and we'll be painting those tonight. Can't wait to see how it turns out.

Thanks JoMama! Take a ride and check it out this weekend if you have time. We'll be there Friday and Sunday for certain. Rob has to work Saturday so I'm not sure if we'll be around or not. Eddie's place is easy to find. The pictures do the color no justice.

At least Mange keeps me honest in posting pictures....

Rob worked Friday and Saturday so we were unable to work on it until Sunday. We finished basing the boat. All touch ups, bow, windshield, etc. We start clearing tonight and tomorrow and then buffing/sanding on Thursday.

Here's how the bow came out. We're really happy with it.

The windshield is dark purple. Take a close look at this shot and you'll see the start of a Chris Craft logo. We ended up shooting this in dark blue, airbrushed in black. It will be very visible in the sun and when it hits light a certain way, but we didn't want it standing out too much. Came out really good.

we need to do a "Stinger Fest" this summer and get these stingers together in one place on Lake Erie.
I know a guy with a 312, and then there is glassdave with his 260Scorpion. And my 260Stinger.

People would be very surprised at how good they all look.

We cleared the sides and transom last night. Doing the bow and cockpit tonight. It'll be Thu or Fri before I can take pictures and then I'll load them afterwards.

I promise Mange I'm going to get your part to you. I have your address and it's sitting in a box......just too much going on right now sweetie but I am going to get it to you soon.

Thanks Adam. We finished clearing last night......it wasn't easy. Eddie and Rob finished up the bow last night. We have a small area that we have to fix but other than that it's all good.

Rob's working the next few nights so we're not going to be able to do anything until Friday. We meant to stop by and see the progress you and Beth are making......we'll check it out this weekend.

There's a little boo-boo on the one side but we're going to fix that up tonight. Hopefully we'll get it scuffed, painted and reclear it tonight.

She did turn out pretty good. People are planning surprise birthday parties and things like that this weekend (Rob's grandma's 85th is Sunday) so we're not going to have a lot of time to get to it, but we'll do our best.

We'll be around Saturday afternoon.......maybe you and Sash can plan a ride out with the kids to take a look.
