Just wondeing how things are going with your props. I put 34 Maximus props on mine today. Great planing, cruise, and midrange. Got the speed back to 91. Problem is at about 84-86 the boat chinewalks bad. You have to excelerate fast through it from 80 on to avoid it, and the boat just doesn't feel as stable as the Bravos. Anyone have any ideas.

I tried the Maximus and went out when the lake was very rough.(25 mph winds and whitecaps). The boat crushed the water and felt great, probably due to the bow being up. The next day, a weekend day with lots of boat traffic, I took the boat out again and the boat handled the cross chop miserably. The boat felt unsafe. I could have done some more tweaking, but why bother. The 6 blade Herings are the best prop for a 525 Gladiator.

I would like to keep the Bravos, but I lost 7mph here. 36's would work but I think it would suck out of the hole.
Paul, in or out?

The water was very smooth today. We think that has something to do with it. I'm wondering if the diameter has anything to do with it. They are 15 5/8. And about 1/8" between blades and cavitation plate.

Spin in. By the way, Cigarette tried the Maximus and didn't like them. Hering 5 or 6 blades or 34 Bravos. Those are the only choices I believe for a 525 boat. What was your top speed in Fl and what is it now? Lost 7 mph?
