For what it's worth I still thought the boat was fun at 87 LOL. There is definately more there because even with the wheels today we still had 500 rpms left from the Rev in extremely cool, dry conditions. Sounds like the Herings might be the ticket.
Have run the rest of the wknd. I'm bummed I hand to come back home.

Could it be you lost some mph due to freshwater or altitude? Also, it has to be cooler where you are vs Fl, and technically, the boat should run faster in the cooler weather. Now that I think of it, when I have run at the end of the season, in cold, cool temps, I have bumped the rev limiter alot easier reducing my top end speed.

Exactly what Paul said for prop selection. With labbed 34 Bravos we ran a best of 92.9.

P.S. I hope that Joe didn't use race fuel for your test ride.
Damn, Should have not said anything Paul...
No, I ran 87 sunoco for him...With 3 adults and approximately between 3/4 to full of fuel in 2 footers 90 MPH...34 bravos..I have run 92 with 2 adults and less fuel..
I think the Herrings might do the job along with more seat time to get used to the way the motors like to run..Drive trim will also help..
When In Doubt, Trim It out!!!!!!
Alex, anything you need, give me a call..I know how to run that Boat...

I,m thinking it was the cold temps. My boat had a a hard time hitting 90 and was bumping the rev limiters in a temp of about 55. In warmer weather, 90 is no problem and you run out of lake before you grab the last several mph,s.

We have alot of space to let it run and air out..This way you can play with the trim a bit.I think the boat runs alot better when you have some chop..In flat water it doesn't get any air under it and sticks to the water..
