Wow. What a disgraceful, sad shame.

So.... what you're saying is buying it for $18K then drop another $90k into it for a boat that is then worth $60k is a bad financial move?

Sad indeed.....

Indeed, there was a thread a few months back where we decided that virtually any "project" boat was not worth it even if the boat is free... You've really got to just enjoy doing the work and trolling for parts as a hobby. If I had any financial sense whatsoever, I could have just bought one of the late model TG's with big power and VI's that have gone through the classifieds for a lot less than what I have in mine.

Yeah, I hear ya. By the time it's done, you could have bought a nice running boat but I just love a project like this. If you're a do it yourself guy, when it's done you are intimately familiar with all systems. It's a good feeling when completed.

Not that I'm looking for another 'Gun but would like to see better pics. -I really doubt it's ready for the shredder.

Yes, a layer of dirt and crapped out upholstery can make things look a lot worse than they are. Would definitely depend upon what equipment was useable whether anyone will give $18k for it.

I would not belive it in a million years how that boat could be left uncovered. I spend all of my spare time cleaning, redoing, upgrading, etc. I dont even have any water in the hull ever! forget about no cover at all.... that drives me crazy. Greg
