Interceptor , ICEDPPL posted the survey on the boat and certain people on this thread have gone out of there way to bash this kid . I dont know this kid and really dont care about him but if you have read the survey , accordingly it surveyed as an exceptional boat for its age . So my question is this . If the experienced surveyor tells the purchaser that the hull , drives and motors are in above average conition how is a potiently bad paint job considered the screw job of a life time( and at $ 30,000 priced at market for what it is ). It seems certain peoples opinions way more heavily than seasoned marine surveyors . If fact one of the nay sayers motors were so badly built they grendaed to point he said he would have to spend $ 10,000 to right the problem but not even one mention of this supposedly dead beat engine builder, some one we should all be warned about . I think its time to move on , I know I will be wary about posting any of my future projects in this site , really just wouldn't want the bull**** .God forbid I decided to sell my boat in the future and have to deal with these experts and their opinions.

The survey says the boat is sold and runs, surveyors can care less about small details that make the boat finished or quality. He was there and reported all the issues and that add up.
So are you saying the pictures posted of this boat you would gladly pay 30,000 for it? Flaking paint, bondo, overspray all over, gauges don't work right... No cabin door, steering not working right, very corroded drives and tabs, rusty engines... Come on man get with it.... To me surveys are only for structure as anything visual and mechanical is left to the buyer to decide, I could have had a engine survey done in mine and you saw what happened, but they could have been running fine at time of survey.
If you think this boat has quality all over in and out I suggest you open your eyes more because the whole thing is hacked bad. A extremely rusty and dirty engines and bilge pic would have made me run personally that shows extreme lack of care for the boat. But I forgot he restored it... So shouldn't all that be spotless?

I hope one of the Phil lovers buy this boat I would love to see it a year from now with the extreme lack of paint prep, surveyors don't look at that or know about it they just see new paint.... There is many pics showing proof of the boat clearly not prepped properly yet you still support the job because a survey says the boat is decent. If the boat is so nice why is it not sold yet? Answer that...this pic should explain enough.... Shows extreme lack of prep paint should not peel off at all, let alone before it's even finished

FF you posted one statement about your engine builder not 100 pages and he cost you REAL dollars . Second its presumptuous to think that the average boat pruchaser( especially one looking to move into the cigarette or or similar market ) is so stupid he wouldn't recognize shody workmanship when he sees it . The fact that the boat hasn't sold yet speaks to that point . I would guess that half of the cigarettes purchased by members on this site wouldn't have surveyed that well , ****ty paint and all , ask ICEDPLL . You guys have brought a new level of negativity to this forum and for that reason I will think twice about what I post here and I would council ICEDPPL and 88Bullet and Cig923 to do the same just to mention a few . Again just my opinion asI am not here to offend anyone .
