Appreciate it guys. The boat is in good hands with Gil, he is doing great work on it, and coming up with good ideas. Ended up buying #5s, more rigging, yaaaay!!!! Konrads are for sale, but someone on the board has first refusal. Hopefully Chris ships the drives to me, kinda of nervous paying someone you don't know, for parts you've never seen. I have faith that there are still good people in this world that deliver on their word.
Someday it will float. I might name it the "Great Wall" because it has taken forever, and someday China will probably own it..... |

So who is buying the boat. After 3 people saw the boat and declined again there is more not being said. Only way to swing this thread is say is show the boat as it sits rite now today. Flaws and good point put it on the table. No cabin door , fresh paint, gauges don't work, new cockpit interior, ect. It would bother me that the fuel pumps are not marine app as it would the coast gaurd.

,y guess is someone with the hawks and drives offered him a majorly lowball number for the boat is he "dropped in" the new motors and drives. Phil figured he is going to make up the difference selling the 420s and trs stuff and has grossly underestimated (once again) what its going to take to do the swap not realizing all the little glitches, hiccups and headaches that go with a job of that nature.
At least he will be squeaky clean once he finishes taking this bath... |
nope, pulling the 525's from my top gun, putting those into the cafe. im buying a set of #3's and all the parts. then grabbing a set of 500's to go back into my gun. but hey! why should i bother posting anymore lol

SOOOO this new buyer is going to have Phil who admits through his current posts having some one else do a simple engine reinstall on the Cafe and if you read on his earlier queries on threads that he started that he has not a Phukin Clue what is involved in the installation of a stock motor and drive and now he is going to reglass a transom and stringers for 3s and rig them.
Phuck some one go on Amazon and see if we can get a OSO deal on Popcorn. This is going to be Good |
I think Yamaha is referring to his own boat selling. Everything he said about SS being the middle man is true, I am the one who bought it. SS also tried to find Phil's bottom dollar on his boat, but I told him repeatedly I wasn't interested in it.

525 hawks and 3's hopefully they are 3a's . That being said boat might hit 70 if you can mount the drives high enough. And if they are just 3's good luck finding props .
