Been a while on the updates, final polishing is done and reassembly is in process.. Going to have the rear seat brought here so we can get the wiring hooked back up.. once we got to this point we found some of the fiberglass parts on the inside that we decided to repaint because at this point we "might as well"..it will result in basically everything in the cockpit being 100% restored.https://cimg5.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.off...9b9f1cf5d.jpeg

Looking good Rob.

Hey, do you remember where you got the stainless nav lights. I'd like to replace the plastic units that came from the factory.

Lipship also has them, or they did last year. $299 for the pair.

With Tank's discount they should only be like $29.95. :-)

payuppsucker 11-15-2018 08:56 AM

Cool 20 Rob, perfect tender for the Tiger!

F-2 Speedy 11-15-2018 09:12 AM

whats the reasoning for the B-3 on the 20..........nice boat

Got Cigs 11-15-2018 09:16 AM

F-2, I think thats a Blackhawk Drive.

Offshore, the 20 looks bad ass. You might have to start another for that, very cool.

It is a black-hawk, props by cutting edge, the vid i posted shows the rooster at about 60 mph... we hit 86 not even trying.. I was talking with Rick (one sick gladiator) and feeling out the setup, everything on a 20 with a black-hawk is 100% opposite of how the tiger handles... im pretty sure it will crack 100 in the spring.

a 100 in a 20 footer.....not for me

jbraun2828 11-15-2018 12:22 PM

That’s crazy fast in these little things. I’ve got one stripped down and heading to the painter. Mine scared the chit out of me at 55 with the cable steering. I’m thinking a 525 will be plenty for me. BTW the tiger looks great

thisistank 11-15-2018 12:42 PM

You knocked both of those out the park man. Bad Azz. Can't wait to see the Tiger in the water, done.

I have mine on an ITS box, lots of seesawing the wheel at low speed, but I had the tabs down like I would have in the Tiger. Rick told me tabs neutral and drive neutral for low speed and it should straighten up.. main thing is with the props when it goes in gear it jumps in the water, lol

I’m doing a ITS box for sure just not sure of power yet. I have an old all aluminum 400 small block that I think would be really cool in this boat. Just not sure if I can get it to 500 horse. I was thinking 280 tabs would be fine in a 80 mph boat, or should I do 380’s?

i have 280s and mounted them flat over the last lifting strake, see the pic above, it makes the water think the boat is longer and its very sensitive to tab, I really have to get used to it. but I'm sure it will be fine once i learn the boat more and test and tune.
