Cant wait to see this thing. Those motors are puuuuuuurty. Archer Marine will take good care of you, been around a LONG time.

Love the idea of wood floors. Since you're taking recommendations, I would suggest re-doing all the interior down bellow and updating the cabin to current style instead of the 80's porno set that most boats of that era had do some nice tan pleather, update countertops, wood floors down bellow too. Take ques from photos of new sea rays, and Azmuts and the such. Boats got the lines, the name and now the power, just try to get rid of the dated look wherever you can.

Great ideas Tank. What are your thoughts, or anyone else's, on the faux wood floorings? I think the benefits may be cooler to the feet and less maintenance, but it's not the real deal...

Thanks

We had a fake wood product put in our Portofino a few years ago. I turned out Great! It is more of a rubber type flooring that is glued down like VCT. I will see if I can find the product name.

Actually, you may want to check out that seadeck stuff everyone is using now. When we tested the first 420 nortech in key west a few years ago, I saw that stuff for the first time and fell in love. Soft on the feet but looks like teak and takes the wear and tear very well.

I would stay away from teak for a more maintenance friendly product like Tank mentioned. Teak is cool and all, but I'd rather be out boating than worrying about my floor. Going to be a cool boat!

Thanks Tank and Shallow, I will check out the Seadeck flooring. I think I'd like the real deal in the cabin if I can match to cockpit Seadeck appearance.
Thanks

Thanks for the pics Tom. They look good. I'm leaning towards the second pic, with a silver instead of black. I saw a Donzi similar to the silver idea, it looked pretty nice.
