Leave it, but it'd be better if you posted the full-size picture in a post here.
We'd all appreciate the better detail. :drink:

Can you send what you bought? I would love to do the exact same thing.

Also I figured out that I have to buy all new gauges.... I am changing out a couple and Livorsi doesn't make the same rings anymore so the new won't match the old ones.

division1 02-27-2023 03:38 PM

Ye so the all the stainless boats and nuts I put those bins together myself with all the types and sizes I have used in the past. Each bin I have 500-700 in each bin but sure beats running to the store every day. The clamps are yea made stainless kits 1/4 up to 2 inch I ordered 4 of them that should be enough to do the hole boat I think. I will go back and look what the part number is for them.

F-2 Speedy 02-27-2023 04:01 PM

Helmwurst 02-28-2023 08:48 AM

Those hardware kits are NICE! I have been running back and forth to places for 3 months now trying to piece together all the needed parts to put everything back, I still am not done.

division1 02-28-2023 11:17 AM

Lol yea i decided I was done doing that I spent slot of time putting those together so I don’t have to do that lol nothing worse then being in the middle of so thing and having to leave it so get get screws lol I did the same thing with electric connections and I keep bud bars and stuff to just easier!!

ICDEDPPL 02-28-2023 05:00 PM

I have bins with 10 years worth of screws, bolts, washers , etc etc and still don`t have everything I need. Never fails on a weekend I get ****ed by one screw or washer i don`t have.
Lucky for me McMster Carr isn`t too far and they deliver next day.. they pretty much got everything even ARP bolts , cheaper that my engine builder could order.
Intake bolts for example.. marked ARP

For me, my main concern was UV protection so I went with this. It was extremely easy to apply.

COLLINITE No. 885 Fleetwax Paste Wax

division1 03-01-2023 05:13 PM

Sweet thanks !

division1 03-02-2023 06:18 AM

I was thinking for the ride home 14 hours hitting it with spray way before the trip

jbraun2828 03-02-2023 08:20 AM

Check with your painter but I don’t think new paint fully cures for about 6 months so not sure if anything should go on it. I could be wrong.

CIG3 03-02-2023 10:25 AM

Griot's Garage Speed Shine is the ticket. I've used their stuff for years without fail on gel and painted boats and a ton of classic and exotic cars. The speed shine is great for before and after traveling as it lubes everything up to suspend debris before wiping with microfiber.

Let me say that your I've been following your restoration for awhile now and it is amazing. Great job.

Why not shrink wrap it?
Love how the paint came out and your avatars too

speicher lane 03-02-2023 02:14 PM

If you are going to have it in shrink - make damn sure they put on the peel ply over all the paint to protect it.

Even a really good shrink job can flutter in highway wind turbulence and would treat your new paint like 80 grit sandpaper

division1 03-02-2023 04:03 PM

Yea shrink wrap scares me I talked with painter today it’s been sitting completely painted for 2 months almost in 75 degree shop he said he has a product well wipe it down with before we hit the road. Thanks guys for all the replies can’t wait to get it home ! Stay tuned I change the avatar daily lol

division1 03-02-2023 05:15 PM

Per some requests I have changed back to original avatar and I also figured out how to turn it right side up !!
