division1 04-15-2023 09:16 PM

Absolutely!!! On to the bilge lol

division1 04-18-2023 08:08 AM

Ok so I got all the trim tabs blasted. I have transom assembly’s and drives all ready for paint. They were in really nice shape just had some paint bubbling. Everything was silver before. You all think I should go black or stay with silver ? Or mabye white ? Thoughts ?

Given you have the black stripe and in the logo. I think black would flow with the rest.

You've finally made your avatar pic a reasonable size. :drink:

division1 04-18-2023 10:00 AM

We’ll they don’t give you a size option lol 😂 yea I agree I have blue in the interior and the the blue on the deck just trying to tie it all together

Bfoodman 04-18-2023 10:58 AM

I like the blue - i am not sure I like the black on the black carbon - also the boat has a ton of black and white - I say go blue especially since there are already blue elements in the interior. And... whoever that is in your profile is gonna be "pissed off" lol!

hey! I recognize that dash 😁😁

my .02 for what it’s worth. Are you planning to do blue highlights in the cabin and cockpit? I’d almost suggest going red and black with how the exterior logo and fairing is red and black. Or if you’re planning on doing blue highlights here and there and want to go blue gauges, I agree maybe do the lower brushed silver bezels in black and then do the large upper chrome rings. With bright blue (or red) gauge faces against a carbon fiber dash. That would look clean I think. Here’s my dash.

also, while I’m thinking about it, after looking at my pics. I would recommend if/when you install the underwater transom lights you also install a set above the water line. When we were doing our boat, my guy did this and it really makes a huge difference. Much brighter!! You can also isolate the switching so you can run each individually or in tandem.

That looks great !!! My cockpit has some blue in it with white and silver. Was hoping to tie that all in since it is damn near new didn’t want to have to redo it all

We will have all new side panels because of the new dashes but seats will all be the same
https://cimg7.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.off...e61d6b699.jpeg
I’m thinking black faring panel all that stuff will have to be remade

thisistank 04-18-2023 11:34 AM

I see what you’re saying. I think the gauges I used would tie in everything perfectly. Only thing I’m on the fence is then do you go with black lower bezels to match the new black side panels and fairing or do you go brushed grey to match the grey in the existing interior? 1st world problems. Lol gonna look amazing no matter which direction you go.

division1 04-18-2023 11:51 AM

I know all these decisions lol I think I’m going to
go black bezels still kicking it around I may order one gauge of each and see what looks better I mean if feather loose 60 bucks then dislike the dash lol

I was referring to the drives and tabs if there's any confusion.
Have no input on the dash and gauges. To many ways to go and it'd turn out good.

division1 04-18-2023 12:07 PM

Ya I think all black is the way to go on tabs and stuff as well

division1 04-19-2023 08:01 AM

Ok I think I’m going to go blue carbon, black ring , chrome polished bezels that will put the polished Bezel against the dark carbon background and black ring to tie it together

Bfoodman 04-19-2023 10:26 AM

Carlotta steering wheel? LOL not spending your $ but that would look nice with the new gauges. Any pictures of the progress?

division1 04-19-2023 11:18 AM

Oh it will definitely have one of those !!!!! Yea I have to go there them been pretty busy lately

Ironmanwb 04-19-2023 01:01 PM

That will look good.

I have to buy all new gauges too..

I think I am going to go with red trim ring, black bezel and carbon fiber gauge background. The boat will be black and white with some red accents. Its really simple classic design similar to the style of yours.

Ironmanwb 04-19-2023 01:02 PM

Oh and you need to turn your avatar some mine can get in....lol

division1 04-19-2023 02:09 PM

That will be sweet !!!!! I’ve been watching your build to looks sweet ! I don’t have many options on the avatar it just turn the pictures how ever it wants lol almost time to put a different one !

division1 06-02-2023 01:55 PM

Hey know lol some one has to hand me parts and hammers !!!!. I have been working in the bilge and running lines and all that fun stuff. Trying to finish all that up. And to be honest I need to be in the right state of mind to start the gauges and helm wiring lol. It needs to be payed out correct lol. I have a blank canvas and don’t want to mess it up. It was supposed to be upholstery by know but keep getting the next week phrase. I just need ti 2 side panels redone.

division1 06-02-2023 01:57 PM

Let me be clear when I meant In I meant in boxes like they have arrived lol not in the boat. I have a few more small things to be wrapped up then starting that project lol

Toe bar washers I’m guessing are just there so the bar and go up and down on the sleeve. Don’t remember the washer stack orientation. Didn’t plan on it being apart 5 years……

Little mock up

Bfoodman 06-05-2023 10:43 AM

Looks great. Progress! Not to be spending your hard earned $$, but will the drives be powder coated. I do like the silver with the black!

division1 06-05-2023 01:06 PM

There going to stay silver with a nice polish. There in really nice shape the silver matches perfectly! Tabs are black we just got done with those

ICDEDPPL 06-05-2023 04:06 PM

You would have to completely disassemble the drives to powdercoat them , that would be major labor and major $$$$$

AllDodge 06-05-2023 04:36 PM

The space on the tie bar nut looks excessive to me, ok to be a bit loose but would need to see threads coming thru the nut first
