Thanks ! So the flat deck it’s a awesome boat !!! The 90s Topgun’s with notch in the transom react slot different to center of gravity issues. I rode in a 95 Gun that had the liner removed and factory stringers retained and it was awesome it few very straight. With the stringers I built I prolly have another 650 pounds up there so I’m hoping she crushes !!! Hopefully I’ll know next season!! I have spent the last 4 days 12 hour days on it cabin is all done gel coating tomorrow!!!

No it was .9 mill. It’s a blue one from Columbus area. It has 575 hp 454s and some bravos on it. He bout it for like 7500 bucks had cracked blockes and he put some engines in it cut the liner out it was all cracked and broke bolted some bolsters in it and run the pods out of it lol. It runs like 81 it’s light he calls it just a old pos lol.

3/4 marine ply with 3 coats of ve resin on both sides.

Tabbed 2 layers all the way around it ties the surrounding bulks heads together along with the sides

hard to tell in pic but up on the 2nd section you can see the 4x6 3/8 thick angle threw bolted to stringers I put a bead of 5200 on that and the drilled and tapped 3/8 number 3 Phillips bolts in them. Rock solid

Gel coat tomorrow

Division1 that is interesting to learn . I put a notch in my Flat Deck a number of years ago when I decided to go from No 3 drives to No 5 drives and avoid running standoff boxes . I believe mine is only the second flat deck to have a notch, Gary Kolfski put one in the FD he owned also a very cool boat There is a thread on this forum some where ( How to put a notch in a Flat Deck) . I have shyed away from moving forward weight because of the troubles Kvogt had . I may now revisit . Cheers RG.

5200 on all stringers to bond new pieces in

Through bolted the angle in the stringers. After setting pieces on I drilled and tapped the angle so I can bolt the new pieces in.

In and ready to go to glass
