Ended up deciding to soda blast entire bottom to straighten and make sure it’s perfect. One step forward and 2 steps back with this project lol

It was such a big step the boat is on its way to south Florida to have this done lol. It would take me 2 years and the guys down there can do it in 2-3 weeks,,,, but pricey!!!! I am going to end up with way more in this project than anticipated, but that’s my life story lol.

You stripped it after priming and doing the gel, what was the deciding factor? I noticed some larger blister after it was blasted but it did not look that bad.

It just wasn’t flat and straight enough to suit me lol. I tried to rush and it just wasn’t the quality I wanted. My costly mistake (hurrying). So we are back to the starting spot. It would have been ok, but I would know it wasn’t as good as it could be!!!! I tend to overthink/overdo things, but I know what I want lol
