no sir. The motor mount doesn’t mount there. I raised the ones that the motor mounts to 2”. Sorry for not clarifying. I guess I assume everyone understood I was raising the motors and drives. The very outside ones are still the same height. I did not want to build new motor mounts because I had powder coated mine before I decided to raise it. It was simple to just add the 2” to the center and 2 other stringers. You are more than welcome to check it out.I am in Georgia and it’s warm lol. I am going to be working on it all next week, should get the bottom re-gel coated, then start back on getting it finished.

When I took it apart I sent everything to powder coat. Then realized there isn’t enough material to raise it 2”, so I made the stringer taller. Problem solved and should add a little more strength.

It may be just the pics but it does appear that the outer stringers (in front of the batteries) are lower in the rebuild when just referencing the height of the bulkhead to the stringer

Ok now I am looking and don't want to beat a dead horse but the last picture you posted it sure looks like the outer stringer is shorter then it was in reference to the bulk head.

The other question I have, which stringers do the motors bolt to? It has to be the outer and middle right? Or at the very least the outer and the one next to the middle that you raised?

I must be missing something.

I see what you mean. I will try to get different pictures from straight on after I finish the glassing. The outer 2 don’t support the motor mounts but I understand what you are seeing. I might have a picture somewhere with the tape measure on the original and also now, I will have to dig for it.

Ok …… I’m not being a Dick so I hope I don’t come off that way just making sure we’re all on the same page lol I’d you look at far outer stringer before you cut it apart it’s almost to the top of the bulk head. The new one is a few in shorter atleast. It’s shorter then the original one. I totally understand about raising the stuff 2 inches but I’d you raised it all 2 inches it still would have the smaller one next to the center stringer. I’m not knocking your work it looks great . Just want to make sure you don’t get a surprise when it’s all done . I swear the 2 outside stringers are reversed lol
