No, I was at Magnum in '79, up to my ass in 53' Magnums. It was just a 32' stretch or a 36' shrink.

At any rate, someone should save her . . . and buy my 35' Mistress so I can play with something else!

Hi Marco, i´m reading a swedish boatmagazine from 1972 and there is an article from the boatshow in Genua. The article says that Intermarine in Italy builds a Cigarette 32, I guess under license. Anything you heard about?

Aronow licensed Ronnie Bonelli who was connected to Intermarine, to build the Cigarettes and Carys under license in Italy about that time.

A freind of mine had an all blue 33 (deck, sides.bottom) at Lake Erie Toledo Beach Marina back in the 80's. It was a really cool boat with the wide beam, big cabin. He put all kinds of power in that boat but it refused to go much over 60 MPH, we guessed it was the design. Great ride quality however, crushed the Lake Erie water running over to Put-in Bay.

Hi steeb,
As already told by BROWNIE that years the Intermarine built a certain number of hulls of 32' on license Cigarette / Cary.
This series took the name of Iguana from the name of the first built sample.
Ronny Bonelli was owner of the yard Firebird Racing Team where its competition boats were prepared but it also had affairs with the Intermarine.
Rumors also say that the second Cigarette 36' Lady Nara of Bonelli had always been built in Italy in 1972 by the Intermarine on license of the Cigarette.
Marco
