That 36 with Inboards is a very good friend of mine , he owns Nuwave marine in Deptford NJ and is also the top selling Merc engine dist on east coast . The boat was built for local devloper back in the day a guy named Skip Levitt who built post WWII developments in NJ and PA and then was sold to an Attorney . The boat was one of one built for offshore fishing with straight inboards and at one time had 440 Mopar engines which back then were the engines to have . It now has new Awgrip paint , new fuel tanks and a stunning custom built trailer with three torsion axles and brakes on all 4 wheels . Could be converted to IO power if so desired . If interested call Ken @ 609-364-1479
Ahhh Levittown, NY... What did ken do with the yellow 20 Cigarette hull he had a couple of years back? |

No, that is the Cigarette 35' built in 1976 for De Angelis and that the Roman drove only in one or two races.

Info about Blond Offshore Race Boat
Hi,
I recently bought a 1970 Nova Marine 25 foot offshore boat. In tracing the past ownership on this boat I've determined that it belonged to Roger Hanks / Blond Offshore at one point. It looks like someone has a real collection of vintage race photos and I'm wondering if you might have one of my boat. I'm in the process of restoring the boat and getting it running again and trying to validate if it was actually a race boat. http://photos-d.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos..._3258105_n.jpg This is a current Photo of the boat. You can see more pictures at: http://www.facebook.com/hotpuppy72#!...2&id=585094900 Please keep in mind that the boat is rough and I'm just getting started. There are a number of vintage race stickers inside the boat. and the pictures are hi-res so you can see them. Most of the numbers used to race under Blonde Offshore are on stickers on the inside of the cabin. Oh, and I apologize again for the appearance, I've had it a week and the engines are my first priority. |
