From what I understand there are alot of radically different things about this boat compared to other boats like it. Including the sister serial number, which just happens to be in Houston. Running gear is substantially beefier than #122 (this is #123). Engines were new H/M 351W's in 1970 and were pulled, sent to LA and built there.

I originally thought the boat was too small to race, because everything used for Offshore seems to be 36'. However, I was talking to the fellow who owns 122 today and he was saying that in 1970 the boats were smaller.

If there was a Blonde, that might explain this boat.

In this picture (above) in the middle is a Roger C. Hanks oval sticker. That was my first clue that associated it with him.

There seem to be 3 numbers on the stickers:
56, 773, and 779.

Here is a clean shot of her lines and running gear. I have the boat suspended from a pair of frames I made so that I could refurb the trailer.
