Then it became the Triple B. A new built boat or a former something? Those are the probably twentyfive 36' hulls built from 1970 and 1973 by the Cigarette. Several of them became then other named boats for the same drivers or others new owners. |

The boat behind "Slap Shot" in post 6 is "White Knight" this was Aronow's original #4 "Maltese Magnum". The Magnum is being restored. I just emailed the owner of the boat to tell him of the picture/thread.:) |

I know that boat. In 1967 Aronow built several 28' with different solutions about engines and trasmissions.

Superb Black Tornado!
Sabre Dance was bought by Arnold Glass in 1975 and run by him in the States for a few years before he bought the Bertram "Copper Kettle" from Sandy Satullo. And Snap Shot became Jumpin' Jack in 1974. Aeromarine III is being restored in Norway (or Sweden!). I think that is the boat which became "I Like it Too" . And didn't Guilio de Angelis acquire the first Black Tornado, also run as Eraf? |
