You have to love the classic lines of the older Formula's. It should be a beauty when done. The look is timeless.

Kaamacat: If I can get out of work early enough (looks good today that I can actually call it early). I will start in on the transom. I have a couple spots to grind out and reglass. Then I have to reglass the exhaust tips. This will hopefully be done this weekend but we will see.

Talking paint'in boats

For starters, YOU ARE THE MAN!! I wondered when you would get serious andl lose the trailer. My Wellcraft had that dam black bottom paint and a couple of real cood gell caot scars. So I sanded it all of and Painted it with Imeron. and it was half way through before I got the smarts to pull the trailer. I realy like the vinal graphics that I got from Raceline Digital and highly sugjest a set for your progect.

I may get some Raceline stuff we will see. Not this year but maybe next. These next two shots are of the exhaust holes. The former owner was such a hack that all this new glassed in area was filled with caulking!!!! Then I made up some wood inserts for this and had the guy glass them in. He was also a hack and only put in one very light layer of glass and nothing on top!!! So I took matters into my own hands and put 7 heavy layers on the sides and 5 on top. This should be strong enough to not crack now.

My bro (the man) doing what he does best. I thought that I had it flat but BOY was I wrong. He can get cars flatter then anyone that I know. He is a real pro when it comes to flat work. He said we have a couple more days to get it right. Oh well that puts me behind a bit however it will be worth the waite as it will look like the windows were NEVER there. Also he showed me a couple other places to work on and he will perfect it from there. It is really starting to come together now. Each time I look at the boat I see less and less to do. That is what really is starting to get me pumped up!!!

Jon,
Boat is looking real good. I'm going to take a picture of MR. CIGS old Formula. The guy that owns it now had it painted white and added vinyl graphics. It looks great and can be easily changed if he ever gets tired of the old look.
