im running a 355,srp flat tops, aluminum heads tho and a bunch of other goodies..750 cfm proform carb.. runs like a scalded dog..have a friend running a similar set up like yours and also ran a 750 carb.

motor runs strong about 400hp give or take a few my carb is a holley 650 4barrell electric choke dual feed i think its a 4150 was built by all island carb on long island ny .i sent them my 750 edlebrock to rebuild because i was fouling plugs ,running rich etc and they told me that thier was nothing wrong with my carb what motor was it on and what was my hp and said my problem was it was over carburated and built me a 650 for my set they put it on a dyno and run it to your rpms and timming and set everthing so when u get it just put it on and go

ok just pulled the old engine today. it is a 2 piece rear seal 350. besides the flywheel and coupler will everything else change over to my new 1 piece seal block, such as starter, p/s pump, harmonic balancer, bell housing, etc etc?

Yessir! As long as you run the same diameter flywheel the starter will be good. Some of the older 350's had a 158 tooth ring gear which takes a different offset then the 168 tooth.
