F-2 Speedy is right. I was shocked at how small the Victor Jr ports are when I laid a gasket over them. They leave a lot of material in there so you can match whatever heads you have. The airgap isn’t as bad but I still took some time to hog it out.

Smitty has done some dyno time with the Victor Jr. You can see his input on the last couple pages of my build thread if your interested.

At the power your aiming for and your CI I'd tend to go single plane and port match. Dual plane do have awesome torque but think you'll sacrifice at top end. I only mention port matching because of your build. Honestly seen up to 50 hp gains on dyno back to back. Valako will verify. Some builds makes no difference or very minimal. Heck I've even ran Valako raised floor heads with a stock rec port intake and had no power loss. It was a weekend deal to get on the water but interesting. That was with a 454 build though with much less power. Look into the Merlin X intake. I'm not a big fan of them however seems like a lot of guys like them. NA 565 builds I'm using the brodix hv2001 unless I go back to sc. cross section and runner length is something to be considered also. Just my opinion..

I really appreciate everyone's thoughts and input, baja and getr have really good points. This is allot of money for me ( doing this twice) so i just want to maximize what i get and learn from other peoples mistakes. i was worried about port matching for some reason i thought that would change the port velocity. Baja I have a extra power steering pump, but it is for a serpentine system
