I would keep a eye on your fuel pressure , sounds low , I like to have my pressure at 6lbs of pressure at idle and increase the fuel pressure 1lb per pound of boost pressure

At 5lbs of boost you are only going to have 4lbs of fuel pressure

When using a mechanical pump, it can be boost referenced (increase fuel psi 1psi per 1psi boost) by connecting pump’s vent nipple to boost source ie: the box.

Now, if volume is enough from the pump, that’s another area to figure out/find out.

pounds is same thing as psi in our lingo.
pounds is short for pounds per square inch.

Some peep’s run your system. Just ran into this post:
Can I run stock Y-pipes on a 500HP motor?

I’d check to see what carb # and how it is jetted/tuned/fuel pump used etc/etc. Always good to ask those who have done the same you are going to embark on.

I have a complete spare box if you need one. Best carb for that app would be a holley 750. Fuel pump needs to be able to make 6 lbs at idle and 11 lbs when full throttle if making. 5 lbs boost..
