Sorry, thought it was you. I edited my reply. Sorry about that.

It seems some people have differing opinions. Might want to hang onto the OEM pumps just to be safe.

It's prob safe to assume most people have had good results with them.

One of the problems I had read about was the oil reservoir for the fuel pump lubrication builds up pressure and pushed oil past the front seal. Hardin does sell a kit that is supposed to bleed off excess pressure. https://www.hardin-marine.com/p-1044...equalizer.aspx

Another issue I had read about had to do with low or lower water pressure than the OEM pump. Someone was saying there were slight differences in the impeller cavity size that reduced output?
You can do a search on here by typing in Hardin sea pump in the "search" bar and you should see threads about them.
I have never had a water pressure problem with the Hardin pumps. In fact, I have the opposite. I tend to have excessive pressure, except at idle.

Default 90 degree?

Will I hurt this pump if I put a two 90° fittings on the back of this instead of these inlet and outlets being vertical because my oil cooler is on the port side of the engine instead of the back and top of the bell housing of the engine….

I would bet that you would hurt flow. How much though im not sure. When I used to work automation I swapped out a bunch of 90 degree pneumatic fittings for straight ones and we gained significant cycle time on our machines just by doing that.

100% agree and makes sense! I need to find out how to plumb my oil cooler to the back of the Bellhousing’s.

Only posting what I had read. Last post in this thread is what I recalled.

Another Hardin SS Sea Pump Question

And in this thread, All Dodge explained why he went back to plastic.

Best option for Bravo One Sea Water pump ?

As i said, I have no personal experience with them. And I'm sure many people are happy with theirs such as yourself. Just posting what I had read.
