Exactly. At higher speeds the longer rope is the answer, but for the safe family tow speeds there is no rooster or spray to worry about.
your not in the rooster, plus I found it to be better sking behind my bravo boat with a 120 or 150ft rope than a standard 75ft rope cleaner water and ocean racing uses 200 ft I think.
