I may be wrong, but I think that the backing plate of the standoff box on the Arneson Drive that is inside the engine room and Transmission serve as the rear engine mount when put together. I read the instructions Rik gave me on how to install the ASD7M, and I think that is the way it is set up. There were no pictures as I hoped, so I am a little confused on how to install the drive myself. I may be wrong. At least I hope I am.... Maybe Rik will join this conversation and clarify it.

Installed the drives and engines and bolted everything together. The mounts were 3" apart. They only thing to do was to slide the engines forward.
The transmission is mostly in the bilge and is flush with the exterior portion of the transom. When you take off the access panel that is on the standoff box, you can see the front of the transmission at the transom and the drive shaft.

Good Luck. Don't forget your GoPro. I am curious how hard it is to get on plane. I bet it is going to be tricky, but you should figure it out. Personally, I would try getting on plane with tabs and drives all the way down, then slowly raise the tabs after you gain some speed. That is what I had to do when I had blowouts with clever style hydromotive 4 blade props on a bravo drive, 12,500lb 38 foot Cigarette Top Gun. It allowed me to get on plane and keep the RPM's under 3000 when my engines where still a little cold. Just an idea!
