I am having the original 454 reworked, Basically everything will be new cept the blocks. There were big delays, so I bought the 502's to run this summer but now seems everything is coming together. The 502's were 98's ... Mag HO's MPI's .... I got 500 EFI cams for them and replaced the Rods and Pistons .. I have someone interested in them. I think ...

Somehow I acquired a pair of 502 MPI's .... we freshened em up plus added 500 EFI cams and Crane Roller Rocker's ... new ECM programs ...
One of the motors showed some signs of electrolysis on a cpl of pistons so both motors have new forged pistons....Not sure where they will end up . I have someone that sez he wants both of them but its not a done deal ...... We fired up the no1 502 this past week and it sounds prettty bad .........500 EFI cam put a nice lope in the idle

Man, I know what you´ve gone through. I just finished a similar job on my Wellcraft. I lifted the motor out and found out that both stringers were rot (and some other stuff too).
It took about 6 months to restore the engineroom.
A tough job but you just simply have to do it...
However, it turned out well in the end.

Nice work offthefront!
