Chesapeake Bay Rendezvous June 23-25

Knot me
. New job and work every Saturday with a day off during the week.
Plus the Hyatts prices take the fun out of it and make it more like an expense
. That will pay for a lot of gas

Very cool event, once again. We forgot to take pictures (duh), but expect to get some from the organizers. The weather was not a factor until the run home. 65 miles of rain, sometimes HEAVY - Thank God for full-face helmets!

I think location would be driven by where people are coming from.
Treads, were you thinking about a "raft up" or a destintation cruise to a dockbar or something?
Should we start a new thread?

I noticed at least 7 Formulas at Jellyfish Joels today, maybe more. How about a raftup there? I've been there the last 2 weekends rafted up with a few other non-Formula boats and plan to be there again next Sunday, great place

A run on Labor Day weekend might be good. Even if it happens later that might be o.k. too. Boating on the Chesapeake just gets better after the summer's over until after the Powerboat show.
We had a great stop at Dock of the Bay for the CBPBA Central Run, it's right behind Hart Miller island and they did a real nice job for us. Looks like we could raft 15-20 boats there no sweat. Just a suggestion, I'm out of South River.
