Chesapeake Bay Rendezvous June 23-25

We had about 80 people there for a poker run and they let us use the outside, had a great buffet and even made us a huge sheet cake with the club logo-pretty cool. The place should have room for us and the food is pretty good. As long as we don't lose everyone to the Port Deposit thing, let's go.

We'll stop by 'til 2:00 PM or so. Then we have to leave for Port Deposit to show RAddiction how to anchor and party...

Spoke with Dave from Dock of the Bay this morning. Great guy, is responsible for scheduling all events at the place. He mentioned how great of a time he had hosting the CBPBA Central Run a few weeks ago.
Said that while they can't reserve slips, if you arrive early enough, and it was mentioned above by Chuck and insptech, there shouldn't be a problem with slips. Dave was able to say that if there is a better head count about a week before, that he would reserve the deck area for us in front of where we would dock (just to keep an eye on them)
. Agreed that food would be straight from the menu.
I'm sending a link to this thread to Dave, and he may post up here. Said he may join the site, good for business, and he is a boater also.
so far looks like 5 boats, and between 14 and 16 people.
CSpray, how long of a run to Port Deposit from Dock/Bay?
