Check the impeller .....and while you got the hose off the sea pump ....pull the hose on the intake side of the Thermostat housing and backwash the whole system ...Put an old nylon stocking over the hose off the seapump the one going TO the PS cooler (above the bellhousing) ....m

Well there is a screen in the p/s cooler though correct! That should catch everything.

There is no screen in the P/S cooler ....Nor the oil cooler ...The P/S cooler is just a hollow tube ...the oil cooler has small tubes the water flows thru and that is where it clogs .....m
