Hey guys, I just got done doing this rub rail replacement and I would recommend to get some samples of the different profiles and colors you think you may want for your boat. Take a piece of your rub rail off and then put the sample up to the boat and see if it's going to cover where the old one was. This is not the easies job to do and very time consuming but worth ever minute when it's done. I did use the Taco's rub rail that I believe measured 1& 15/16 in height. Take your time and I'am sure it will turn out real nice. Sorry I don't have any pictures but I wish I had. Changing the rub rail is a big improvement to these old birds. Propwash.

Did the old rub rail unscrew from the screws on the outside? I was once told you had to remove the interior upholstery!
