Was that smile still on your face after you made it down? Black trails pretty brave for a novice, or did you walk down? Bring that board to the Bay this summer, I'll give you a tow behind the Biotch!

Hope everyone has a nice Easter, Kitty and I are headed to Hilton Head tomorrow am.
Same to you and Kitty. Tell Mich not to eat any Easter Bunnies, I hear fur is much like feathers. I need to get me one of those Government subcontractor jobs so I can go south on vacation too. Or is this one of those golf ball seminars? Maybe I'll go out and fire the Biotch up tomorrow, just for grins! :D |

Back from Hilton Head, fun town but no longer on the list for a second home. Low country living ain't me. Pic is a 12-13 footer on one of the golf courses. Theres more gators there than I've ever seen in Fl.

"Com'ere little doggy, com'n, I won't bite you" "I'll frickin' one-gulp you" Now come on here, Mich is a dog the laid waste to a 3 day old bird last summer, spent two days chittin' feathers but other than that . That old gator would be child's play, Not! Is it gators taste like chicken? Or dogs taste like chicken to a gator? I'll take our snow over gators and snakes any day! |
Ironically we saw very few dogs on the courses we played, mich would've been an appetizer......

You are alive and well! The gator pic had me worried. Find where you left that boat yet? Start working on the pre-splash program? Any planned upgrades? Horsepower enhancers? Do I need to be concerned? Any shipping activity lately? I know, too many questions, but I am an inquisitive little F'er! |
I'm planning to pick up a few mph with new batteries this year, BTW, Axa, you owe me info on that. Pulled the convertible yesterday, saw the boat tucked away nicely. Oswego slip is set, boat will see daylight in a couple weeks.

Both are Deka batteries, the 24 series is the start and the 27 (bigger one) is the house battery. 24M7 8A27M Dave |
Although I have no photo evidence, Thridbird and Pachanga Mike splashed the boats Saturday. Nice afternoon. All systems are good, no surprizes. Cruised from the Pond up to Lake View Cut. Lake was like super flat. Tons of drift wood at the cut for campfires!! I'll be needing my chainsaw though.
Wish I was out there today, it's frickin' like 80 already!!!!! |

Actually was tempted on saturday myself, but I was good and kept plugging away on that F'n house. Sitting here having lunch and channel 7 says 90's in central N.Y. this afternoon. Someone on here has a line in their avatar something to the effect of "Killing the planet 16 cylinders at a time", that be us! Look at the mess we inherited here, seems only fair to pass it on. Why relocate south when we can just alter the climate to suit us where we are now!!! :ernaehrung004: |

Since most of us from the upstate New York area, Lake Ontario, and the Thousand Islands, frequent the Formula section of OSO, and MOST of us own a Formula, we need to stop hijacking other threads for BB'ing purposes. So, I've decided to start this termite treatment phoenix for us to "Air it Out". The rules are simple....there are none! Just be sensitive to other people's feelings, and keep it clean and have fun! Feel free for ANYONE to jump in and have at it!
:boat: Let's start again....BE NICE!!! Dave great tips. I enjoyed reading this |

When did you splash? Trip good? See any dead swine victims? Splashed a chit-load of Tequila down my throat in Mexico! No dead swine victims...Hence the chit-load of Tequila down my throat. No way any swiney thing was gonna live in my body! Oh, by the way, it's H1N1 not Swine Flu. Dave |

Probably me! Got the props back last week and thought about it, but just to busy with work. Looks like I shoot for Memorial Day Weekend. Oh well, I was one of the first in last year so I figure someone else can claim that this year. Besides you and Mike already beat everyone in this year. :ernaehrung004: |
AXA,
Be nice I think Bird had a thing for our spammer, visions of burying her in the blankets at the pond...:signs035: |
News Flash
Bird may be the one wrapped in a blanket.
Channel 7, Watertown, has been running a scroll tonight saying that the schools in Sandy Creek are now closed for the next two days due to suspected cases of Swine Flu. |

Channel 7, Watertown, has been running a scroll tonight saying that the schools in Sandy Creek are now closed for the next two days due to suspected cases of Swine Flu. This is all so idiotic. NPR stated this morning that on average, 36,000 people, THAT'S 36,000 PEOPLE, die each year from "regular" flu. Why is no one up in arms and closing schools, malls, airports, subways, restrooms, taxi cabs, etc, when the "regular" flu comes to town?????? |
Yeah, it's kinda crazy the way they are going about it. Nobody wants to get blamed if there is a panademic though!

Way too many 24 hr. news channels competing for the audience and the more sensationalized the story is the more folks love it and tune in. Years ago we looked to Walter Cronkite for the days events, and Walter only had enough time for the important news worthy things in his time slot. Chit like this would have no doubt ended up on the production room floor, only because they didn't have paper shreaders back then. Wear your mask, don't go near any pigs, and remember if you feel a little off a good dose of radiation will probably kill the virus. |
Given the fact that the town of Sandy Creek shares a toothbrush, chances are ya got a pandemic on the way...:hitfan:

You ready to run yet? Might be in your neck of the woods this weekend. I just have to replace my battery charger with the new one I purchased over the winter along with the 2 HUGE batteries I swapped out. I now have 2 size 31 series batteries . there will be no problem with power for my little stereo this summer.:cool-smiley-027: Jeff |
