Back from Hilton Head, fun town but no longer on the list for a second home. Low country living ain't me. Pic is a 12-13 footer on one of the golf courses. Theres more gators there than I've ever seen in Fl.

Although I have no photo evidence, Thridbird and Pachanga Mike splashed the boats Saturday. Nice afternoon. All systems are good, no surprizes. Cruised from the Pond up to Lake View Cut. Lake was like super flat. Tons of drift wood at the cut for campfires!!:cool: I'll be needing my chainsaw though.

Wish I was out there today, it's frickin' like 80 already!!!!!:mad:

We'll take your word for it, mainly because Mike is your backup. Actually was tempted on saturday myself, but I was good and kept plugging away on that F'n house. Sitting here having lunch and channel 7 says 90's in central N.Y. this afternoon. Who says there is a downside to this global warming chit!

Channel 7, Watertown, has been running a scroll tonight saying that the schools in Sandy Creek are now closed for the next two days due to suspected cases of Swine Flu.

Yup, evidently the pig flu hit the Crick.

This is all so idiotic. NPR stated this morning that on average, 36,000 people, THAT'S 36,000 PEOPLE, die each year from "regular" flu. Why is no one up in arms and closing schools, malls, airports, subways, restrooms, taxi cabs, etc, when the "regular" flu comes to town??????:rolleyes:

Yeah, it's kinda crazy the way they are going about it. Nobody wants to get blamed if there is a panademic though!

The day we live in. Way too many 24 hr. news channels competing for the audience and the more sensationalized the story is the more folks love it and tune in. Years ago we looked to Walter Cronkite for the days events, and Walter only had enough time for the important news worthy things in his time slot. Chit like this would have no doubt ended up on the production room floor, only because they didn't have paper shreaders back then.

I just have to replace my battery charger with the new one I purchased over the winter along with the 2 HUGE batteries I swapped out.
I now have 2 size 31 series batteries .
