Didn't fall for that one, Nice try Jeff! Went for a ride a few years back with Rick Merola in a 525 Arneson set up Cheetha, was impressive, ran 98 ish with fuel and 5 guys. Ended up sold to a local Doctor here in Potsdam and dialed in above 100 MPH.

So did the little guy help clean the outside of the screen for you? I thought about trying to download it for a screen saver, but after leaving it on in the background for a while I changed my mind. p.s. any single guys that have lap tops may consider using it as a pick up, at least 3 women made comments about it last night while Cheryl and I were out. Monday night date night: consists of going to Abruzzos (piano bar) dinner drinks and we've converted it from a sports bar to a sitcom bar as we watch Two and Half Men from 7-8 got to love beck to back episodes. Rainy Saturdays occasionaly turn into movie day there as well.

If I'm not mistaken I was standing on the other finger dock, thanks for cutting me out of the photo. I recall the day well. I was walking down the dock when in the distance I could here the rumble of big engines moving ever closer. As I peered down the dock I saw some little guy jump out of his boat and head to places unkown. I look back out toward rum runners and the water turned a bright orange. Next we engeage in conversation where's Pete? Don't know he was just here and poof he's gone. Didn't return for half the day.

By the way yes I still retain the king of the river title until we can put together a sanctioned TIBBC race, no one can take it away from me.:drink:

Yeah I thought about it, But I had a number of excuses, Wife had the boat full of everything you ever thought you might need adding a good 500 lbs, plus a few breakables, Um then there was the prop issue, and ow the tank was full of fuel adding more weight. Or was it that I forgot to change the spark plugs. It may have been to early and the hang overs hadn't wore of yet. And don't forget the graphics still needing redone that slowed me down a good 3 MPH. But I'm ready this year :boat::drink:

Sure thing, we were over at Bonnie in the dining room having breakfast FYI. We watched them all go out in the Orange Hustler for a rip, and saw them sniffing around the Biotch, all while having coffee and some very tasty extra crispy bacon!

Ok the sun is out and its 50deg.outside.time to drag the race boat out and get er ready for the seaon.It looks like we'll be running OPA this year in class 5 where the boat will be more competetive.Wont be running such an aggressive setup so we shouldnt be breaking so much equiptment.It looks like I'll be running an SVL with OSS also.Pig Iron Racing has asked me to throttle for them.The boat is more commonly known as the woodpecker boat.check out there website at pigironracing.com.They are a great team out of lake tahoe.

Sunny yesterday here, little cold, but just had to run out and spend a few minutes checking on the Biotch. Spent some time on the phone with Brett @ BBlades the other day and needed to get the props so they can go back for another round of blade brainstorming on monday. One more go at these then it's likely change the program time. The never ending quest for the elusive MPH. Gotta love this chit! :D

Not much to do, it finished the season unscathed. :cool: Wax job for the hull sides and launch it. Sat all winter and as of a couple days ago there wasn't even dust on the deck.

New Process Gear. Another dumb fock move on the part of the arrogant UAW. Given the chance in these trying times the UAW in it's inherent wisdom has decided to just go home rather than come to some reasonable compromise to keep this plant open and people employed. Reality here, UAW is closing down this plant. A year from now, when the UP bennies and job bank chit runs out, these people will be looking to mop floors at the local WallMart to put dinner on the table. Real F'n smart bunch.

I personally feel that the big union mentality and ways has run it's course in this country. They are costing members decent jobs and reasonable wages in times when any job is worth holding on to. There is a plant in Mexico that will pick up the slack that closing this plant will cause. Ain't that just real fockin' smart on the part of the UAW. These butwads just don't get it!

Thanks for the update Pete. I think I've sort of figured out my boating season. weekend before the 4th thru the 4th and then another week covering both weekends of Pirates weekend. Work pending of course.

Work pending? WTF does that have to do with boating time? I always thought that work was pending good/bad boating weather. Whenever you appear in the Bay we will likely be there.

What I do need to know here is if you plan to defend your "King of the River" status on the first trip or second? I need to make sure I get that Velocity-wear to you ahead of time so that you are appropriately attired for the event. Wouldn't want you mistaken for a Flocker.:eek:

Running start from the bay heading to singer, pace boat required, TIBBC members will be at the finish line to rule whom is the new King of the River.
