Question on Trim/Pumps

That screw is the dip stick and the screen is on the bottom of the pick up in the reservoir. You have the older style and I’m not sure how the tank is attached on those. On the plastic tanks there is a screw on the bottom and a quarter twist to remove the reservoir

So if the Trim hose in the tilt hole on the trim cylinders manifold on the outside of the boat under the transom plate. Swap them and see what happens. is what i meant to say. Is what can do what you are describing
