I've seen 115 with the 700 package in a 38. The first 38 with the 700's that Scott Shogren got in 2 summers ago did it. There was Scott, his wife, my wife and I, and Mark Smith "Chi-Town-Hustler" on board. Dead calm water on an inland lake, full of fuel, 6 bladed Herrings, and we ran out of lake. Had the lake been a few miles longer, we might of picked up another mile an hour.
Needless to say, I was very, very impressed with the way the boat ran with all of us on board. Maybe Scott can chime in on what the props were. I just don't remember anymore, but I DO remember the day out on the lake with that boat.

Wonder how much faster it'd run in some salt water???

Team Shogren,

I thought Scott told me you were building a 38 with 1075's when we will picked up the 42 last year at the factory? Beak got his the next day, and I was thinking, Damn - he'll have to upgrade the power and he hasn't even ridden in it yet.

Tarheel, I think we are staying put for a while. Like the 38/700 pkg. But hell I wasnt really looking when Scott told me about the 38/700, it just happened. Something to be said for luck. I did notice that their was a 42/850's at Shogrens. Has a generator and the comforts of home. It has your name all over it.
