Being towed behind his truck speed....

Im surprised its taken him so long to throw a dagger back at me. He seems to be probably the only guy on OSO who gives people more $hit than I do....OK, Trip300's probably has me beat too.

seriously you are going to have a 42 with 6 's. approximately Eddie Young 1300's. are we talking cat killer speeds here. seriously if you if you go 140. aren't you going to be in the top 5 42's in the US ( excluding poker runs and race boats)

I honestly dont know what 42's are running out there with big power? I hear RBH is high 130's and there is another guy that PM'd me with a 1075 Ex and #6's who is running 138. If we could hit 140 in a 100% open cockpit pleasure boat, Id be tickled $hitless. We shall see!

Id say motors will be closer to 1200's....1300's is pushing it according to Eddie. The new Whipple 4.5's came out..we are hoping to go with those...assuming Eddie says they are a good match for our engines. Heading down to YPM on Thursday!

Dropped the boat off at YPM yesterday and hung around the new shop w Eddie and Travis most of the day. Eddie was kind enuf go take me out on a 165MPH blast in a Nortech he was finishing w 1300's. All I can say is...wholly $hit!! Boat was incredibly fast and stable as heyll. Anyone want to buy a 42Ex? I need a Cat! Lol.

Drives r coming off today and boat is shipping to FPM Monday. May have the 3.3's sold too!! Fingers crossed.

Glad you enjoyed the ride. We took it out again today with the owner but we had to run his props since I had to give up the ones we borrowed. It was definitely not the same boat with those smaller props. Still pretty fast though.

Im going to head down to La. in a week or so and go ring it out where I have a little more room. There just isn't enough room around here to let it stretch it's legs.

I didn't know this disaster was back up and running. I have some reading to do.
