This thread should be a mandatory read for any newbie that says, " I am looking at a 38-42 ft boat. It has 5XX's and Bravo's. The boat is a great deal, but what will it take to run 100mph?"

The drives look crooked. I think they need to come off and be redone all over.

Why do I subject myself to this $hit??? At least its good to know that the motors have all of 12 minutes on them and Eddie says "oh....man, you need to send em to me....we need to go through them." I mean, seriously? Who wouldn't stand behind their motors after they have sat for 2 full years?? If I have ever said anything nice about Eddie (which I don't believe I have)....I take it back.

I backed the rocker arms off and the springs didn't move. They stayed compressed. I had to use a torch, jack hammer and a backhoe to remove them.....so you need new heads as well.
