If you replace the heads (last remaining 525 parts I'm guessing) shouldn't there be enough take off parts to build 2 complete 525s for spare motors? But if so leave them stock!

Leave them be! That's how I set my high compression motors up to help them spin over easy for starting. Think ' compression release'.
Course this only works for 1 revolution. But them that shouldn't be a problem on this boat.

We replaced the heads when we built them. When I got them, pretty much nothing was worth a damn. I think we used the block, supercharger and intake. They wanted more power, so the Eagle crank and rods (that shouldn't have been in there in the first place) got replaced, along with the 7 different size, shape and style pistons, both coated and non-coated.

Well, ya see, these aren't high compression, so it has the opposite affect. If I left them alone, it would cause reverse osmosis of the air and cause the supercharger to shoot right off the top of the engine. Someone might get hurt.....and I don't want to see that happen.

Shouldn't you be taking Travis's nuts out of dry storage right now and warming them up for another season of hard core swinging??
